Enschede is in the northernmost part of the Nethelands bordering of Germany. The city is home to many Universities. There are many overseas Chinese Students studying here, and also many restaurants nearby. In 2003, the Mission Board sent Sister Pan xx to Enschede for summer training, and upon her graduation in 2004, she was sent to start a Gospel Ministry among college students. Through the support of a college professor, she started a weekly bible study in the dining hall of a dormitory, and many overseas students came to know Christ through this ministry. In the ensuing five years that we have been in Enschede, we have longed to start Sunday Worship Services. In 2009, we started to diligently search for a place, and to pray. The Lord ultimately provided for us unexpectedly good news. A catholic church in the city center was willing to let us hold services there. Within a very short one week span, they agreed to let us use a part of the church for Sunday services and Sunday school at a rental we could afford. On Sept 6, 2009, we held our first Sunday Worship and Baptism Service. We call our church CEC in Enschede
