In early 2005, Bishop Rev. Moses Yang from the CEMI headquarter in North American sent Evangelist Sophia Wang to Barcelona, Spain, for missionary work. On February 19 and 20 of the same year, a CEM mission team from the States came and presented an Evangelistic concert in Barcelona. Rev. Moses Yang preached on “The Blessings of Life", and announced the establishment of the CEC in Barcelona on February 20. At first, the Mission was located at the Barcelona C / Mallorca ,20-22 .1 º 4 ª Barcelona, where we held weekly Bible study, prayer meetings, and Sunday worship service in a Spanish church. As the landlord of the Mission went into bankruptcy, the bank auctioned off the building. The Mission was forced out when the one year lease expired,. Our weekly Bible Studies and Prayer meetings relocated a few times afterwards. We were at the laundry of Sister CHEN Wen-Fang, and then at the Far East Office. As the church grew, we moved to our current location at C / Rosselló 427 Bis, Local 2.on 6 August 2006.

Our weekly meetings include the Sunday Worship service, Bible classes and prayer meetings, and Fellowship. Our schedule is as follows:

Worship Service: Sunday 5:30—6:45 P.M.
Bible Study: Thursday 5:30—7:00 P.M.
Fellowship: Saturday 5:30—7:00 P.M.
